I think Six sigma’s result is to improve the quality and efficiency of the business. This is achieved by streamlining processes and eliminating wasted energy and resources business. The success of implementation of six Sigma is based on the ability of each element of DMAIC – Define, measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Focus on business processes in need of improvement and need to be sure to focus on those areas where possible improvements. In order to effectively incorporate the elements of the strategic plan and the basis for the Six Sigma, individuals should see the business process from the basics.

In my opinion, processes such as Six Sigma are crucial in terms of being successful as a company and making quality and customer satisfaction a priority within your business. Nowadays, using Six Sigma is a must. Besides the tools for process improvement, also the “lean factor” is very important in my opinion. Lean focuses on value through the relentless elimination of waste. Value is defined in terms of what is important to the customer. Customers are willing to pay for products / services that add value. Introducing Six Sigma inside all company’s processes, within both existing business processes and new product / process designs, is a very important advantage for that company in terms of creating value, quality, customer satisfaction and eventually profitability.
